重慶升降機一般都在顯著的位置標明貨梯的額定載重量，但都不設超載保護自動控制系統(tǒng)。現(xiàn)在通過在貨梯電控系統(tǒng)中加裝超載保護的智能控制，對消除貨梯操作人員違章行為，規(guī)范使用貨梯的生產作業(yè)人員的行為習慣，以及預防誤操作，都具有較好的實用價值。

重量超載檢測的安裝根據(jù)貨梯原有的構造情況，在升降貨梯機房固定轎廂側的綱絲繩頭處，加裝一壓力傳傳感器，在這里加裝傳感器對感應貨梯吊廂的重量最直接，安裝也較方便，只要再多做一塊附加繩頭板即可。由于貨梯吊廂的鋼絲牽引方式是吊廂一端鋼絲繩固定電梯機房的橫梁上，另一端經過吊廂頂輪過渡到主機曳引輪上，鋼絲繩從主機曳引輪再經貨梯配重塊的繩輪回到貨梯機房的橫梁上固定的。貨梯的吊廂就是掛在滑動輪上的廂體，其吊廂一端鋼絲繩固定橫梁上所承受的拉力為吊廂總重量的一半，因此，傳感器的曳引比為2：1的。
